Molded-Case Circuit Breaker
Molded-case circuit breakers are utilized to open/close low-voltage circuits and protect wiring by automatically closing circuits when overloading or short-circuiting occurs. Its rated current is up to 1000A. Molded case refers to the insulating case that houses the breaker and insulates conductors from each other and the earthed metal parts.Modern electrical distribution system places higher safety demand on circuit breaker. More concern is placed on personal safety, equipment reliability and system consistency.
1. Applied materials should have stable contact resistance, good electrical conductivity, high hardness, excellent anti-arc erosion and anti-welding properties.
2. Materials like silver tungsten carbide or silver tungsten are recommended for making electrical contacts. Besides contacts, we also supply customized arc extinguishing chamber (Cu/Fe/Cu clad metals), movable and stationary bridge contact (red cooper / brass) and various stamping parts for switches.
