Touch Switch

Overview

    A touch switch is a kind of switch that only has to be touched by an object to operate. It has two metal plates which spring under external force to break and make the circuit.

    Small as it is, it is widely used in home power control applications for convenience such as TV power button, computer mouse etc. It is also used to control lamps, ventilators and other low power household appliance. This electronic switch breaks after electric supply is cut off and shall not make when the supply is restored until the button is pushed. Therefore, it prevents the unnecessary power consumption and accidents.
